Care of the Critically ill Patient - Charles Bloe Training

This comprehensive two-day course is aimed at Nurses who manage critically ill patients within acute areas, Theatres, High Dependency and Intensive Care Units. There is a particular emphasis on managing the patient requiring ventilatory support.

COURSE CONTENT

>	The Ventilated Patient - modes of ventilation, airway management, sedation, weaning etc
>	Inotropic drugs - Dobutamine, Dopamine, Adrenaline, Noradrenaline
>	Pulse oximetry and oxygen transport physiology
>	Haemodynamic monitoring - central lines and CVP monitoring, arterial lines, Pulmonary Artery Flotation Catheters
>	Haemofiltration
>	ICU Psychosis
