This course is designed for people working in a care/support setting for adults who have a learning disability with the aim of introducing a psychodynamic way of thinking about work in a care/support setting. 

The course is based on the belief that the relationship between the carer and the person is a central instrument for a successful therapeutic outcome.

Understand the effects of people's views and attitudes on the lives of the people who have a learning disability
