Having accessed information re on-line training Drug Calculation through Charles Bloe Training Limited, I decided to contact the company to see if this would be suitable for the Registered Nurses at Willen Hospice. The details of the on-line training package and the cost compared to on-site training, was impressive and I decided to proceed.

The training for Drug Calculations was comprehensive and challenging and all the Registered Nurses in the In Patient Unit, including myself, have now completed and passed this.

Throughout the training, all the staff at Charles Bloe were quick to respond to queries and to sort out problems. No contact seemed to be a nuisance and every member of the staff was very patient with any queries I had.

We now have evidence through certification of the level of knowledge our Nurses have and all the team have been able to add this to their portfolio.

This was a really good product from a company with excellent back up service.

We have been working closely with your Company for the past three years, firstly wit the introduction of a thrombolysis package and more recently with our Category C training course.

The feedback from those attending these courses has always been very positive with the students commending both the course content and the tutors. In terms of outcome both courses have realised their objectives in that we are now thrombolysing safely 5 or 6 patients per week and managing up to an additional 10,000 minor illness / injury cases per year without the need to transport those patients to an A&E Department.

These combined initiatives are providing patients with, in our view, the highest level of clinical care in the country. In short, we are delighted with how this has turned out.

CB Training has become an integral part of training and development within the Highlands. Raigmore Hospital have been using CB Training for many years now and are delighted with the outcomes.
