About our training team

All of our specialist trainers are nursing professionals who are registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC).

  • Each of the trainers will be educated to degree level or above and/or have a high level of competency within their area of expertise which is based around ‘The Knowledge and Skills Framework (KSF)’ with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field.
  • All specialist trainers must have the appropriate training/teaching qualification (such as Award in Education and Training ‘AET’ or historical equivalent) and/or a proven track record in the delivery of specialist training to other healthcare professionals over a period of at least 3 years.
  • Our nurse trainers nurse must also adhere to The Code for nurses and midwives. This presents the professional standards that nurses, and midwives must uphold in order to be registered to practise in the UK. It is structured around 4 themes – prioritise people, practise effectively, preserve safety and promote professionalism and trust.

In addition to clinical expertise, our trainers:

  • Are passionate and knowledgeable about their subject matter.
  • Are committed to ensuring that the learning outcomes are met.
  • Adopt training methods that are enjoyable, interactive and adapted to the needs of the learning group.

Is this course accredited?

Yes, the course is accredited with the CPD Certification Service.

What materials will be provided?

All delegates will have access to a course workbook which includes relevant references and sources of further reading.

Is lunch provided?

No, teas and coffees etc are provided, however lunch is not. There are food outlets close to the venue, or feel free to bring your own lunch.
